dead-sea mindful nature poetry

The Dead Sea

As my body drifts — aimless,

Covered in white crystals-

That sting my fresh wounds like a bee,

Mind far from reality’s treachery,

Sinking low, low, lower

What could live in this salty abyss?

Not a thing,

Nothing could withstand the saltiest sea,

But if it could,

Would it be weightless,

like me?
